Site Planning: Architecture

Before you build your site, determine the major categories of information that you want to provide. You should create all of the folders and designate a local root folder for your site architecture. To prepare for this, create a Simple organizational chart that outlines all of the sections you plan on including.

In your Final Site Documentation, there is an Architecture section where you will include the organizational chart described above as well as root folder organization list that lists all of the relevant files in your site (inlcudes images, library items, swf flash files, and style sheets). There should not be any Raw Graphics (files with the following extensions: .psd, .png, .fla) inside your Local Root Folder, and you should remove all unneccesary files.
